Questions? We have answers.
How does a Pikmoto print work?
A Pikmoto (also known as a lenticular printing) is created using a special plastic lens that displays different images depending on the viewer’s angle. As you move the Pikmoto in your hand from side to side, or walk past it, the image shifts between two different pictures.
What photos work best?
1) Use vibrant colors and full ink coverage. They work best at producing a clean transition from one image to another.
2) Avoid using pure white backgrounds if possible. This will produce a ghosting effect that will show 10% at the same time.
Will I be able to crop my photos?
Yup! When you upload your images you'll be given the opportunity to crop them.
Can I preview my print before it’s made?
Yes! Our online preview simulates how your Pikmoto will look by alternating between the two images you have uploaded.
Made in the USA?
Absolutely! All Pikmoto lenticular printing is made in our New York State facility located in Westchester Country.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Your Pikmoto will be printed within 3-4 business days. Shipping time depends on your location. USPS and UPS ground only.
Are my photos safe and private?
Definitely! We understand how precious your photos are to you. All information is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology and transmitted securely. The pictures you upload will be deleted from our server 30 days after delivery. Why 30 days? Because we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee! If you are not happy with your Pikmoto, we want to make it right.
What if I’m not happy with my print?
We want you to love your Pikmoto. If you’re not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We’ll review the issue and offer a reprint or refund depending on the situation. Your happiness with the final product is our priority.
What lenticular lens is used for a Pikmoto?
If you are asking this then you have some lenticular knowledge! We use a 40 LPI (lenses per inch) Lenticular motion lens. We find this lens works best to provide a nice clean flip motion with little to no ghosting. You will be very happy with your lenticular print.
